Desired GMail Contacts Feature

Author

I’m a loyal Gmail user and Fresh Tilled Soil uses the GMail exchange server and we all love the service.. Well, except the ads, but that’s another conversation. In my contacts folder I have 1000+ contacts and numerous duplicates. It would take hours and days to merge all the duplicate contacts I have. A simple solution to this problem would be to add a merge button next to the left of two of the same contacts. Clicking this button would merge the two and then the user would be responsible for cleaning up any of the information within single contact.
Does anyone else have this type of problem? Have you figured out how to fix it?

Update: I was able to find the solution.. Click on one client and then hold down shift and click the duplicated client and the merge feature will come up in the clients contact area.
