In this busy and hectic world we live it is virtually impossible to keep track of all the cool design conferences and events which happen around where you live and work every day. For this very reason we decided to put together a quick little list of conferences and events that entrepreneurs, marketers, hackers, designers, movers and shakers in Greater Boston Area should attend during December 2012. It’s tough to keep track of all these events during the holidays so we thought we’d put them all in one comprehensive list. We’ll try to do this every month for you guys! Without further ado here they are:
Every Thursday from 4pm-6pm Involution Studios invites you to drop by their office to chat about design expertise, get a software design critique, build some bloxes and have fun with your colleagues and friends.

In this free class for entrepreneurs, you’ll learn how to avoid the most common costly legal mistakes when starting your company from Mick Bain and Janene Asgeirsson, two experts on start-up law from WilmerHale. As you know in Boston, beer is an incredibly entrepreneurial business. With an estimated 1200 new breweries opening this year, the craft beer industry is on pace to expand by a third, and here in Boston, we’re in the thick of a micro/nano-brew explosion. Come hear panelists representing just a few of the dozens of local breweries talk about starting up their companies and their business models — in an increasingly competitive sector.
Our very own Senior User Interface Designer and Developer Tim Wright will give a talk at Boston Web Performance Meetup about how we arrived at responsive design as a solution, which problems it solves, and its role in our broader goal to create a truly context-aware design and development model.
In this Intelligent.ly class, we’ll look at the exciting and brand new web technologies Mozilla, Opera, and Google are working on right now which will literally transform the web in 2013. From face recognition, to image and audio processing, to webAPIs we’ll show you demos and capabilities of the latest and greatest technologies which will bring the mobile web user experience to the next-level!
