Twitter’s Activity Represented Visually
This is a great selection of graphics from the Information id Beautiful blog. It shows that Twitter posts are mostly crap but that like anything there is some value buried in there. The question is how do you access those good posts and avoid the insane ego trip garbage?

Very cool graph. We’re fortunate enough to be among the 5 with >100 followers and may be a “loud mouth” too! Our profile at: http://twitter.com/dmbfinancial
Would love to hear how you guys are integrating Twitter into website design and digital marketing in general, although I see some of the widget use on your home page, which is great.
Very cool!

Nice work Jeff. I love the “we’re on twitter page” you’ve created. It’s important not to think of Twitter as a lead generation tool but rather as a listening tool. We’re integrating Twitter where we think there is an opportunity for our clients to listen in on their audience’s conversations and draw out the things that are worth responding to. We also feel that having a twitter presence sends the message that you want to listen, and that’s sometimes half the battle.

Twitter is the best mini blogging site that drives great volume of traffic towards your site or business. Twitter have the potential to make your business go one step forward, where you can explore and get connected to people across the world and establish long term relationship.

Twitter stepped in and took over the real-time communication aspect of social media, something that even news websites had neglected to execute. The witnesses and participants of events were now ‘tweeting’ their experiences as they were happening, feeding audiences with pure insight and uncensored content. Although Twitter feels like a lose end waiting to be tied, its unusually exponential world-wide growth will sustain its community and – more significantly – create a connection among audiences that neither Facebook nor any other media can come close to achieve.
