The Dirt: Design Process and When to Abandon a Tool

by Tim Wright

In the second episode for today, your intrepid UX heroes try to make sense of when to leave a tool and move to another within the design process. We discuss how to identify when it’s time to move from wireframes to Photoshop, from Photoshop into prototype code, and finally, when to move into production-ready code. Steve touts himself as a great speaker, I call him out on it, and Mark face palms at least 4 times (listen closely for the telltale “thump”).
