The Challenge
EnerNOC’s small marketing team needed a digital marketing partner that could both lead this enormous project and support their team’s day-to-day marketing requirements. Having just gone public the company was under additional scrutiny and pressure to produce a web presence that exceeded the expectations of their diverse set of stakeholders.
Solution & Results
With limited marketing resources the client relied heavily on the input and guidance of our design and marketing team. Once the initial strategy was created and planned, our design team used rapid prototyping methods to provide a complete HTML version of the site, which was distributed to the internal decisionmakers for approval before any heavy back-end coding began. This saved significant time and money and supported the other objectives of the project. The success of the new site was felt immediately. Senior communications manager Sarah McAuley reported back to us: “On the first day the new site launched, we got our first web lead through the site. Just one new deal will pay for the website. That’s very exciting – thanks!”
