The Challenge
When we first began the ACCION Intranet Project, it was clear that their current system for communicating and sharing information internally was very fractured. The goal was to merge various global offices and department activities into a simple, unified web application that satisfied the needs of different user profiles. Reducing the time it took to locate documents, travel schedules and perform administrative tasks was also at the heart of this prototype.
Solution & Results
By using clean modular design, leveraging search, offering multiple language options and time-zone clocks, and by simply making the experience as friendly as possible, we have helped ACCION unite their sprawling worldwide organization. Some of the nice surprises that came out of this process were fun features like "Send an Appreciation Card to a Former Employee" and "Employee Anniversary and Birthday Notifications." Clearly, ACCION shares our company culture of people first.
