(Airwave Real-Time Monitoring - Continued)

Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center's (WFUBMC) IT staff knew that the wireless network would quickly become mission-critical as users started to rely on WiFi access for patient-related tasks. However, as IT staff developed their wireless LAN deployment plan, they knew they would need a WiFi network management solution that would automatically configure their wireless access points, manage the firmware distribution process and provide accurate utilization statistics for network planning, all in a secure environment.

AirWave Wireless has developed the AirWave Management Platform (AMP), a web-based software solution that manages wireless networks in real-time. AMP reduces WLAN management costs and optimizes network performance, while improving the security of wireless networks through continual monitoring of security configurations.

AMP is already making its mark on various sectors, but none more so than the healthcare industry. For example, the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center (WFUBMC) evaluated several solutions and decided to utilize AMP for their WiFi network.

Benefits include:

• Real-time user monitoring- AMP allows WFUBMC's IT staff to quickly locate each individual client device on the network in case of a security breach, network problem or virus outbreak.

• Multi-vendor hardware access point support- The IT staff knew it was likely that additional vendors would be needed in the future. AMP's ability to monitor and configure access points from most leading enterprise vendors provides WFUBMC the flexibility to use multiple vendors' hardware without changing the management platform.

• Easy deployment - within 5 minutes of installation, AMP automatically discovered and began monitoring all WFUBMC's access points.

(Our Competitor's Latest Promise - Continued)

"It's tough to get positive human contact in this business. You normally end up in an automated voice vacuum or at call center in India. When I call Add-On Data, I get a friendly sales rep that can answer my questions and take my order immediately." Stan Gryzbeck, Partners Healthcare.

Add-On Data's custom computers are built to customer specifications. They design and build your computer using top-quality products and a consistent bill of materials from the motherboard, all the way down to the floppy drive. All of their computers also undergo rigorous testing and a 24-hour burn-in period before being shipped. "This ensures that you are receiving a top-quality product, that, when received, will perform exactly as you had anticipated," said Shaheen. "In most cases we can deliver your custom computer in 1-3 days."

"As a conscientious manufacturer and service provider, we have implemented a TQM system that will allow us to operate more efficiently and effectively. By controlling our manufacturing operation in a systematic and logical manner, we will improve the way we address the needs of our customers and provide a framework for analyzing errors,: explains Stephen Shaheen, President of Add-On Data.

Over the past 30 years, Add-On Data has built its reputation on providing quality products delivering excellent customer service.
