Logo Design, Google Style
Google has a full time staff member whose job it is to create what they call “Google Doodles,” the custom Google logo designs that you frequently see on the Google search homepage. I think this kind of design is wildly impractical– it’s the opposite of the stuff that the designers at Fresh Tilled Soil do. Nonetheless it’s pretty great creative design inspiration. There where some nice logos here. Especially the U.S. Presidential Election logo.
But I think we’ll have to agree to disagree on how good it’s for Google to doodle
I think it’s a genious way to enhance brand awareness for the customers. The logo design gets more “imprinted” into the back of the viewers minds.

I was hoping there was a way for individuals to submit their own designs and possibly be selected for use on Google’s home page, I understand that there is a competition for Students in the united states but nothing for the general public..or is there?
