Today I registered my 1-year old Garmin GPS device in hopes of getting a free map upgrade. No such luck – it costs $69.95 but you get 10% off when registering the device online. Regardless, I was really impressed by not only their public website (http://www.garmin.com) but their myGarmin section – essentially the My Account area of the site.

The dashboard was very clean and intuitive and once you register your device and click on the myMaps section, the product you own appears with available upgrades in a clean, straightforward and highly intuitive design. Kudos to them on making a super-clean and user friendly interface for their customers.
