In case you didn’t know, the Shorty Awards is an annual contest that celebrates twitter users who’ve established themselves as industry leaders in a particular field.  Votes work on a crowd sourced basis, so twitter users vote for and nominate peer “twitter-ers” who are deemed to be worthy candidates of a Shorty Award in a given category.

Each category award is meant to celebrate & acknowledge social media users who’ve made measurable industry achievements in the past year, AND have contributed a valuable presence in the “twittosphere” through engagement, commentary, content sharing, etc.

As a local Waltham-based user interface web design firm, we’ve been nominated in the top 5 for the Shorty Awards design category this year!
