Champagne.js, A jQuery Plugin by Fresh Tilled Soil
Sarah Canieso recently developed a jQuery plugin called Champagne.js to provide a solution for a project she was working on for Perkstreet. (See how it’s used on the Perkstreet site here.)
The Champagne.js plugin randomizes the display of objects in a grid; it has an onFinish callback function for when the animation is over.

Hey Fresh Tilled and Fans,
The PerkStreet LP you linked to was my brain baby, and I knew we were going to want video and postcard icons to appear on mouseover in order to compel people to click and view all the great things our customers are saying about us. I also knew we would want some kind of animation on the thumbnails to put the user’s focus immediately on the money component of the page. When I heard you guys had the idea to make all the thumbnails appear at random, I knew it was spot on. Although I had no idea how you were going to make it work, I knew it would be really compelling — giving the user the sense that new customers (and positive testimonials) were appearing all the time. Needless to say, this plugin was a fantastic solution. MAJOR PROPS GO OUT TO SARAH AND THE REST OF THE FRESH TILLED TEAM FOR AN EXCELLENT EXECUTION OF SOMETHING I DREAMED UP. NOT ONLY DID THIS BRING MY IDEA TO LIFE, IT MADE IT MORE COMPELLING FOR THE USER THAN I REALIZED IT COULD BE. Classic Fresh Tilled Soil. Looking forward to our next collaboration with you guys. -Kyle
