Did you ever find a solution to this? I see something recent for basecamp message posting which helps some of it perhaps: http://productblog.37signals.com/products/2010/02/new-in-basecamp-post-a-message-via-email.html

What I really want though is something that can create a basecamp to-do item from an email.

I could develop it and have even coded with the basecamp API, but it hardly seems worth the effort for just myself or even a few of us. Would have to be part of a product to really be worth it.

Thanks,
 - Anthony
